Our temperature-controlled laboratory mill is used in making our own compounds for elastomer materials from a multitude of raw materials as well as for modifying thermoplasts and TPE's. This allows us to gain valuable insights and experience regarding the possibilities of processing our products. Furthermore we use modern test equipment such as our Monsanto Rheometer MDR 2000, the Monsanto Mooney Viscosimeter MV 2000 with relaxation evaluation as well as the Wallace Plastimeter.
Our test laboratory is equipped with instruments for mechanical and chemical testing for the examination of our manufactured materials. The tensile testing (strength, elongation, tear resistance), the measuring of shore hardness, rebound resilience, compresion set and tensile deformation are just some of the standards applied daily at our laboratory. Our swelling and ageing tests are carried out using ovens that can be exactly regulated.
We measure the mechanical and chemical stability of latices, emulsions and dispersions. Processability is additionally evaluated by viscosity tests at various shearing rate using a Haake Viscometer RV12.
